You Are Not Ordinary
“You made all the delicate,
inner parts of my body and
knit me together in my mother's womb.”
Psalm 139:13 NLT
The truth about purpose is; it will always be outside of your comfort zone, it will always push you past your, self-proclaimed limits; it will always require you to trust God more than you trust yourself. Most of us would consider ourselves to be ordinary, most of us would not believe ourselves to be world changers, so the thought of pushing past our comfort zones and past our self-proclaimed limits is scary. So, we sit around waiting for something more comfortable to do, something less risky or scary.
We have forgotten who made us. We have forgotten that we were hand made by God; to live the purpose He put inside of us.
You were chosen to live out the purpose God put inside of you, without fear, without hesitation, without insecurity, without accolades, without recognition, without pride, and without question.
“You don’t get to call yourself a child of God who was formed in your mother’s womb with a God-given purpose, and then, in the next breath, call yourself and your purpose ordinary. You don’t get to tell God that His masterpiece is average.” – Journey To Purpose
That is why scriptures like Psalm 139:13 are so important. This scripture reminds us that we are not alone, that He knows us inside and out, He knows our insecurities and our shortcomings; He knows our strengths and our potential but most importantly He knows our purpose because He put it inside of us. We don’t have to feel ordinary or inadequate, we don’t have to wait around for a more doable purpose, we don’t have to be afraid of the unknown or what is outside of our comfort zone because we are hand made by God’s hand to do extraordinary things for Him.
You were made to live your life with purpose; His purpose.
