Abused Influence

You are a daughter of the King, you are a world changer, you are a gift. God works in you and through you, you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you were knit together with perfection and love, you were made in the image of God, and you are more than a conqueror.

You have more power to change the world in your pinky than the enemy has in his armies because you are the daughter of the King of Kings; you are the daughter of God.

God is for you and not against you.  God has called you to change the world for HIM. You don’t quit, you don’t back down, you don’t give up or give in, you don’t settle, you don’t grow weary in well doing, and you don’t allow Satan to use you as a pawn to bring sin into your world.

You are here to bring the Savior into the world. Influence is as important to changing the world as oxygen is to breathing.

Your influence must reflect the change that happened inside of you when you invited Jesus into your life.  When your world can see the difference Jesus has made in your life, then and only then, will your good influence have credibility.

Wasted influence happens when Jesus changes your life, forgives your sin, redeems your “one-day” mistakes and brings hope, joy and love back into your life but you hide it, keep it for yourself and never allow anyone to see the change He has made in you and all He has done for you.

Abusing your influence happens when you use your new-found life, freedom and forgiveness to judge, hurt, shame and manipulate others. You are made new through Christ not so you can compare your life to others and find their life to be lacking your influence, but to see the life of others as lacking Jesus.

Using your influence to change the world for Jesus comes when you see the world around you as broken and in need of the same savior you found, the same healing and forgiveness, the same freedom and with your new-found freedom you choose to share it, you choose to use your influence to change the world for Jesus.

You were created on purpose and for a purpose. You were created to change the world around you for Jesus with the influence He has given you.  Now, go do it.
